"Lazar. That's the name on your mind." Should have known, somehow. Only so many demons that had even the potential to rise to any kind of prominence. Sucking dry an archangel though? That was worse than he could have predicted. "He's good at torture. Even for a demon. Subtle when need be and a true sadist."
Lucifer tried to remember his creation to the best of his knowledge. "He's not strategic the way you are. Not for big schemes. To get the most out of torture though, he's good at that. Patient. You lack patience."
"I do but I usually get things nice and fast when I put my mind to do so - is it really a flaw?" Aleister asked with a playful grin, he didn't think it was such a big deal. If he could command the world to work how he wanted then his flaws didn't really exist. After all, he was king and this was his kingdom. "So a bone-headed torturer has been sucking grace from an archangel for seven years? Well. That's just no fun, is it?"
And now he had Sam. How on Earth did one even begin to fight a demon hopped up on angel juice. "I'm surprised your brother is alive. Wouldn't you have to replenish often?"
"It replenishes over time. It does for any angel. My brother is an archangel, there is a much deeper pool to begin with. An ocean compared to a paddling pool. You can't even begin to imagine how much power any archangel could wield." Lucifer wondered how much longer it would be before he could make sure Aleister knew exactly how much. Before he'd make him grovel at his feet. Ah, what a fun thought.
"He has his fingerprints all over the Tenaz boy's soul. If he dips into that, on purpose or not, his grace will replenish faster. You know the powers of souls. Which means that if Lazar figures it out, he's just gotten a serious power upgrade for his battery."
"I don't know, I hear archangels are all powerful but you're in a cage, your brothers are dead and one of them is in hell, the bitch of a low level demon." He was just saying. And yeah, he was seeking to piss him off but he liked Lucifer's impotent rage. It fuelled him. Like a beautiful, burning fire of pettiness.
"Look, I'll pass the word on and I'm sure the other brother will probably sort this whole thing out. Sam will be gone, you'll be back in your cage and we'll see what's left of your brother." Aleister smirked at Lucifer, content with his lot. "But good tip on the archangels. Good to know they're such a boost. Like little energy drinks."
"Not for you, baby girl. Human stock." Lucifer smiled serenely, pressing down on his rage as best he could. He'd have his revenge cold. It tasted better that way. "Although I don't know anything. It's never been tried. Come and try some time. Come to daddy and drink me up. Let's see what happens, shall we?"
"I'd rather have the good stuff, thank you. Not some knock off brand. I mean - is it really angelic? I have doubts."
Lucifer was fading in front of him and he smirked as he walked up to the fading image and watched it. He defeated Lucifer. He sat on the throne. He was better than any idiot angel. "Toddles, darling."
