"Not lost. Misplaced. And I wasn't involved, actually. I'm looking into it as a favour. It's always good to have people owe you." Ah, now he had Lucifer's attention. He didn't seem wholly surprised though, more ... expectant. Strange. He cocked his head to the side and decided to change tactics.
"You know back at hotel Babylon, was it? Where you shanked your brother, Raphael. Any chance, out of curiosity, that he could have pulled a fast one on you?" If Raphael was alive then wherever he was, Sam was.
"You're telling me. All kinds of people owing me favours." What a wonderful day of reckoning he planned on having when he got out of here. Lucifer was thinking about some of those dreams he had had, wondering whether there might be more to them. A line to Sam made a lot of sense, but dreams trickling through? He'd have to go pull on that thread.
He was musing his next steps when Aleister's line of questioning was throwing him off. He smiled, despite himself. "My little brother?" There was a nice thought, somehow. "I felt bad about killing him. Didn't think he'd actually get in my way. He was always more like you. A coward."
What a sweet boy though. Always entertaining. "I couldn't feel him around after killing him. Archangels. There was always-- You'd not know, would you? You're an only child. Anyway, as far as I know, he's gone gone. Although if I could pick any of the three, I'd go with him. He was fun. Why do you ask? Any signs of the boy?"
"No. Not that I know of. Though it would appear your vessel disagrees. One summoning spell for Raphael and he's disappeared into the ether." Maybe that was linked to the archangel, maybe that was just coincidence and desperation. He had no idea but he wasn't getting much here but threats and pointless musing.
"I'm glad I'm an only child. I would say it's made my life blissfully easy. Compared to yours and the lumps of plaid." He supposed he could have siblings, his mother fucked around a lot, but he liked to think he didn't.
"Well, as enlightening as this is, I have productive things to do."
"You can only summon an archangel with an archangel's feather." That was some very specific lore that likely wasn't much good to anyone, given that - to Lucifer's knowledge - he was the only archangel left standing. Or left sitting in a cage, as the case might be.
The whole thing had certainly made him think though. Remembering something with Raphael and his vessel. Minor detail, suddenly becoming so much more relevant. Naturally, he saw no need to let Aleister know. "Stop by again some time. You know, before you get usurped. I worry about you, baby girl. Take care of you for me, will you? Don't let those nasty demons pull your pigtails."
Aleister rolled his eyes and held up a dismissive hand before he turned away. So Raphael had not been summoned at all. So what, exactly, was going on with Sam and where had he gone? God, he'd never get laid with Bobby at this rate.
