"Most people are idiots." Harry agreed with that sentiment, even if he knew Sam didn't. Sam was a good guy, he helped people and he talked to anyone who seemed lost or upset. Harry minded his own business but then, he was a New Yorker so it was kind of what they did up there. Try not to focus on any of the horribleness and just get shit done. "I'm sure he'll be way more open minded than my dad, if he's anything like you describe."

He didn't think for a second his dad would have issues with Sam, it was more than Sam was into him. And he was him. And that was enough for his dad to not like it. "They don't have to like me, your family, I don't really care about that but maybe we can keep peace while we visit - that's more of an obtainable goal."
