"Hell can't have instability. You think you can trust these mor--" The crop came dangerous close to his dick and he yelped as he tried to back up. Fucking hell, once Lucifer had access to the weapon chest, things were going to get back. He closed his eyes and inhaled sharply through his nose. He was furious, beyond angry and stupidly scared. He couldn't do anything. And that was why he trembled - not with fear, with fury.
"I will not heel." Not as long as he had some ability to resist, some slim hope, then he had to stick his ground and stay strong. Otherwise these demons would never respect him again.
"Oh, you will. But I like that defiant streak in you. It's delicious. I'll burn it out of you bit by bit. Like slow roasted barbecue." Lucifer didn't seem overly bothered for now, not while it was so much fun to mark him up with the crop. Hey, quite a few demons seemed to enjoy the show.
They were all lowly, hardly the type to be loyal. Which was bad news, as he needed to handle the Raphael matter and he was not willing to risk anything there. So, while he used the crop to hold down Aleister's tongue, he singled out the demon that had brought him the collar before.
"You! You, there. Tell me your name later when I'll care. For now, I need you to get me Gadreel. Wherever he is. He'll come when I call." Lucifer didn't doubt it. He looked at Aleister, raising his eyebrows. "Loyalty can't be bought. Can't be bargained for. Can only be earned."
"On it, sir!" The demon scrambled off eagerly and several followed with him. Aleister watched the traitors go and memorised the names. Each one would be on one hell of a punishment list. And that was what kept him going as Lucifer forced that stupid thing into his mouth.
Gadreel? Who the fuck was that and why was it a priority? He wanted to warn someone but he was a little tied up right now.
