Lucifer was watching Michael, eyebrows arching up. That smile. It was definitely just a text, so it couldn't have been a nice picture. What was going on there? "Got something nice from Bobby?"
Looking at Raphael, he considered and then nodded. "Yeah, sure. We can go feed duckies and pick flowers. Have an extra manly day."
"I'm going to go to football training," Gabriel announced to no one's surprise.
You can do two things. Maybe you should swing by later and check in on me.
"Just organising when he should come over and look at the other leak." Michael dismissed as he finished texting and set his phone aside, picking up his coffee instead. "Gabriel, try to be back at 6 today. No later, alright?"
Bobby had warned him there was a lot of crystal meth around here so he was trying to make sure Gabriel wasn't staying out late in bad crowds.
"I'll bring you home some flowers." Raphael promised Gabriel, excited for his day of flower picking and duckie watching.
"Oh yeah, Bobby is going to hook us up with a daycare for Raphie."
"Wow. There's nothing Bobby can't do, eh?" Lucifer figured it helped that he likely knew everyone in town. Still, it bothered him right now because he knew Michael was keeping things from him. "I'll only bring you flowers if you answer some questions later," he threatened, just to let Michael know that he wasn't letting this go.
"I'll be home by five thirty. I want to get my flowers." Gabriel held a hand out to Raphael so they could shake on it. "I look forward to my flowers, little man. Say hello to all the duckies."
"I will. I'll tell them you miss them." Gabriel came to the duckies when it was Saturday but not during school times. Sadly. He had no clue what a daycare was or what that meant but he didn't mind. As long as Luci came with him. Raphael didn't shake, he just held Gabriel's hand.
"You know, flowers are very no strings attached. It's shitty to make demands to get flowers." Michael pointed out as he rolled his eyes as his younger brother, not willing to give him what he wanted. Michael would escalate, he always made the situation worse.
