"I repair cars, I repair and fix up anything, really, if I got my tools and enough time." It was the family business, after all. Bobby shrugged, not even realising that Lucifer had done Michael a favour by carrying Raphael off to show him the different cereals. Now Michael couldn't say that Lucifer never did anything for him.
"My car has started thunking and there's black smoke from the exhaust. I haven't got a lot of money but if you take a look and tell me how much it would be, I'll save up. It's likely the suspension." It was a very old car so it was not really built to be this hardy but he and Lucifer had split 250 each to get it.
"Bobby is really good with cars, he can fix anything." Matty added, ready to go to bat for his best and favourite uncle. "And he's real nice about it too. That's why he's a good one."
"Ah, I see." Michael smiled and then looked at Bobby, deeply amused. "You certainly do look like a good one." He eyed the man up and down. Nice.
"We all try to be gooduns around here, don't we?" Sam nodded in agreement with Bobby, giving a thumbs up. While holding the package of oreos close in his arms as if it was a teddy bear.
"You think you can bring the car around my place or should I come take a look there? Don't want it exploding around you." Which was not likely to happen, but hey. "Just don't go to Hank up the road. He's a hack."
"Good to know. Don't worry, I'll save myself for you." Michael drawled playfully and then pulled out his phone to quickly check his calendar. "Do you have time Friday? I can drive it around. I could bring it after three." He could just leave Raphael with Lucifer and Gabriel while he got the car sorted and flirted his ass off. Of course, it could end up in a gay bashing but that was a risk he was willing to take, honestly.
It wouldn't be his first or his last. Not since he changed himself up.
"I'll make sure someone else has the kid so there won't be an insane amount of noise while you assess the car. We're working on inside voices but failing miserably."
"I can tell." There was the sound of Raphael's laughter again. "Cute kid though." With those angelic curls. Bobby considered the curls he had to deal with a bit of a nightmare, honestly. Matty was easy, Matty liked it short. But Sam, who was usually well-behaved, threw an absolute fit whenever he tried to shave his hair so instead he had those thick curls that kept getting longer and took forever to wash, dry and untangle.
Maybe Michael had tips for that, he seemed good with haircare. "I'm in the shop all day Friday usually. You can come by any time. Don't worry about money, I'll just have a look so we'll know what we're dealin' with."
"Then it's a date." Michael agreed and have him a very manly thumbs up so he didn't overthink the way he responded. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have three brothers to round up before they cause too many problems."
Michael pushed his cart along towards where he could hear Lucifer, leaving Bobby behind hopefully confused but expectant. Just as he liked his men to be.
