Lucifer could be very observant when he wanted to be and right now he definitely wanted to be. He had no time to waste either, because Sam might be brute force more often than not, but that brute force was stubborn and Lucifer was finding holding on more difficult than he'd want to admit.

"Where the hell are you two? I had a visit from the King of Hell looking for you." So what was happening? "I'm not letting my vessel float around in uncertainty."
